William Kubik, BSc, CCRP
Hello! My name is William Kubik and I am the Clinical Research Coordinator at the Montreal General Hospital, Department of Orthopedic Surgery.
I am a Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) with 3 years of experience in pre-clinical studies conducted at Charles River Laboratories. I subsequently had the opportunity to work in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery of the Montreal General Hospital as a Clinical Research Clerk. I was later promoted to the position of Clinical Research Coordinator which I kept for 4 years. On this post, I learned about clinical studies involving the spine.
Following my time at the Montreal General Hospital, I decided to pursue an opportunity in a pharmaceutical company as a Clinical Research Assistant (CRA) where I travelled regularly to various sites to monitor clinical trials. I was in this position for 2 years until the COVID-19 pandemic and travelling to these sites was halted.
During the pandemic, a new opportunity became available at the Montreal General Hospital, in the spine research sub-specialty of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery as Clinical Research Coordinator which I accepted and it is my present position.
