Canadian Spine Outcomes and Research Network (CSORN)
Our Mission and Goals
We are Canadian spine surgeons and rehabilitation specialists with an interest in multi-centre research assessing the effect of both surgical and non-operative management on outcomes of a range of spinal disorders.
Our goal is to create a collaborative network of Canadian Spine Society members in both orthopaedic and neurosurgical spine practice, who will collaborate in prospective multi-centre trials and retrospective studies to be presented at national and international meetings and be published in peer-reviewed journals. This work will assess the value of operative and non-surgical techniques and their impact on patient outcomes in order to enhance quality of spine practice and patient care not only in Canada, but around the world.
